Rose of the Arts was created with the desire to introduce the art of ceramicist and painter Hideyo Watanabe through our gallery, evoking the same exciting and heartwarming feeling one gets when experiencing art in the quiet serenity of a gallery, and to bring that same sense of wonder to Kohii items when you visit our Gallery Shop.

This shop is responsibly managed by our company, where the artist's sister serves as the representative. Please feel confident in using our services, as all orders and inquiries will be carefully conveyed directly to the artist.

We hope that more people will see and cherish her work, which is why we have decided to sell it through an online shop. It brings us the greatest joy when you find something you like, and we are sincerely grateful to everyone who loves her work.

Through conversations with my sister, I have learned that her activity as a painter of traditional Kutani ware is supported by many people: those who taught her the traditionally inherited techniques of Kutani ware in Kutani, those who prepare the clay, the potters who create excellent bases, those who make reliable tools such as brushes, and those who sell and promote her works. In turn, I have also learned the importance of preserving Japan's traditional crafts, and I intend to operate this shop with that sentiment in mind as much as possible.

Rose of the Arts

"Rose of the Arts" is named after "Rose of the Party," a shop that our company operated for many years, which handled imported goods such as party supplies. "Rose of the Party" meant "the flower of the party," and we delivered many goods to people to make their parties more enjoyable.

With "Rose of the Arts," we hope to deliver works of art and items that add a touch of beauty to your life... We sincerely wish for wonderful encounters. 𐂐𖥣𖠚ᐝ
